Is it possible to go to college on grant?
I am wondering is it possible to go to college on grants alone. I ask because a lot of people are getting in debt because of student loans and I don’t want that to happen to me. Secondly, do I get to keep some of the left over grant money too. I went to itt tech but I quit because out of one month I felt like I’m not getting my money worth in education. Now I’m interested in Akron university.
I’m not sure that there will be enough grant money for you to attend college on the grant itself. If you attend a regionally accredited school, you may be able to get student loans, too. You’re smart to withdraw from ITT tech as it is one of those online, for-profit schools (though may have ‘brick and mortar’ buildings and may be ‘accredited’). Course credits from those online, for-profit schools may NOT transfer to other schools either.
