grants for college?

I recently did my fafsa online. I enrolled in college part-time on tuesday and i was told i would recieve 1800.00 in grants. Well tuition for college is 1506 and the books cost 363.00 totaling more than 1800.00. Since i have no income and i live with my mother, who makes 21,000 a year and supports a family of four should i recieve more than that? Also is there a way i can find out how much money i recieved in grants because i believe the women misread the results?
