Rick Scott in charge: Challenges begin Wednesday for new Florida governor POLLS
Wednesday, Rick Scott of Naples will begin his first full day as Florida’s 45th governor. He’ll have his work cut out for him. Scott takes office at a time of 12 percent unemployment in the state, when more than 1.1 million Floridians are out of work. At the same time, the state faces a $2 billion to $4 billion budget deficit.
