Metal stolen from man’s house while he wasn’t home
One county resident reported at least two instances of items being stolen from his home around Christmas. Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Shane Tucker said the victim called the department on Christmas Eve to report he was missing about $6,000 worth of scrap copper and aluminum from his home located off of Hwy. 26 near the Whitesand community.
