Champlin City Council approves 2011 tax levy, budget
Out with the old and in with the new. Before the New Year the Champlin City Council adopted the 2011 budget and levy at its meeting Dec. 13. The 2011 tax levy reflects a 2.97 percent increase over 2010, which results in about a $20 increase for the average home in Champlin valued at $190,000, a decrease from $207,000 last year.
