Are scholarships from colleges only based on merit?
I’m looking at a few schools, however, I am worried about the money issues. When colleges give out scholarships, do they give academic scholarships considering grades, SAT scores, GPA, etc or is only based on merit and PSAT Scores? I am not quite sure how it works!
If anyone is willing to explain me some more detail it would be greatly appreciated! Scholarships from the school itself, not scholarships that you need to apply for from a program, etc. Thanks!
It truely depends on the scholarship.
Some are strickly merit
Some are merit and need based.
Some are only need based.
Most are academic merit.
